GREAT NEWS -- We are opening a new, small 2-year-old Montessori Toddler class in addition to our primary program, guided by a Montessori certified toddler teacher - space is available for next school year, September 2026-2027.

Step 1...
Is your child eligible?
Children must turn 2 prior to September 1, 2026 to enroll in our new Montessori 2's/3's class. No need to be potty trained.
Children must turn 3 prior to September 1, 2026 AND be potty trained to enroll in our Primary Montessori Program for 3 - 6 year olds. (If your 3-year-old is not quite potty trained by the time BMS starts, they can begin in our 2's/3's class until they are ready).

Apply & Schedule a Tour
We are now accepting applications (complete the online application below, or email us to receive a copy at admissions@bethesdamontessori.com)
and
offering personal tours for the 2026-2027 school year for our traditional Primary Montessori program (3 - 6 year olds) and our new Montessori Toddler Program (2 year olds).
Tours are now in progress. Appointments are required for a tour and all tours take place at 9:45am. Email us or call 301.986.1260 to make your personal appointment.

Early Acceptance Opportunity
Applications with fees ($75) submitted prior to November 15, 2025 will be considered in our EARLY ACCEPTANCE POOL which means offers of enrollment for 2026-2027 will be made before the end of December of this year. If you love our program and would like to secure a spot early for your child for 2026-2027, please take advantage of this option.
Tuition
The 2025-2026 Schedule of Fees is available below. TUITION FOR OUR 2's/3's MONTESSORI TODDLER CLASSROOM IS AN ADDITIONAL $3,000 ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT YOU SEE BELOW. The 2026-2027 Schedule of Fees will be available in February 2026.
We prefer that you complete the online application below and drop a $75 check in our office OR email us to receive online credit card or wire payment options. Please use the mailing address as a last resort.

ADMISSIONS
SCHEDULE OF FEES 2025-2026
* Fees for our 2-year-old Montessori Toddler classroom are an additional $3,000
* First and second semester tuition amounts (in red) reflect the reduction of the $500 tuition deposit.
Tuition fees cover the time period from September to June and include all materials, testing and workbooks, and a $100 art supply fee. Fees subject to change.
Additional Fees:

Activities fees as needed for field trips (approximately $8 per person for our October all school field trip)

$15.00 per hour "Drop In" fee for additional hours -- please contact the school in advance to arrange extra hours.

5% per annum processing fee for families who pay their tuition on a monthly basis. THERE ARE ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF MONTHLY PAYMENT SLOTS AVAILABLE, AND RETURNING STUDENTS HAVE PRIORITY FOR THESE SLOTS. The first monthly tuition payment, due August 1, will be a double payment, to cover the first and last month's tuition for the school year. Remaining payments will be made on the first of each month, payment each month September through April.
Required Enrollment Forms - Updated
Each year NEW & RETURNING families must submit up-to-date copies of the Health Inventory document, signed by a Maryland Pediatrician, and including the most recent immunization record (ask your doctor to print and attach your child's immunization/vaccination record). To ensure that your child is correctly immunized per Maryland law, please take a copy of the Required Immunizations form, available below, when visiting your pediatrician. Both the Health Inventory and Emergency Contact Form should be submitted to BMS no later than August 1 each year.

Required for all children who will store Asthma medicine and/or inhalers at BMS
* NEW JUNE 2025 Emergency Action Plan - for individual with Allergy / Anaphalaxis
Required for all children who will store an Epi-Pen or other allergy meds at BMS
* NEW JUNE 2025 Medication Authorization Form
Required for all children who would like to have medicine (other than asthma, allergy and anaphalaxis as listed above) administered at school including non-prescription medication. Each medication must be listed on a separate form, and signed by the child's pediatrician.
